Taylor Attorneys was established in 2013 by Neil Taylor, a dual-qualified lawyer who was admitted as an attorney of the Gauteng Division of the High Court (previously known as the North Gauteng High Court) in South Africa in 1999 and as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2001. As such, Mr. Taylor is able to advise clients on and to practise under both South African law and English law.
Prior to founding Taylor Attorneys, Mr. Taylor spent more than 9 years working for a number of large, multi-national law firms based in South Africa and the United Kingdom and some 6 years working in-house for two large, European hedge fund managers. His experience gained both in private practice and in-house means that Mr. Taylor is well-aware of and ideally-placed to advise clients on corporate, commercial and company law.
After having worked as a partner at a large South African firm with offices in a further 5 African countries, Mr. Taylor decided that the specific needs, expectations and requirements of his clients (and of new clients) would be better served by a more modern and flexible business model. Taylor Attorneys seeks to break the mould and meet the ever-changing requirements of modern businesses.
