Another large corporate transaction closed

We are pleased to announce that we recently assisted one of our clients to close a large corporate transaction on 1 December 2014.  This transaction involved (a) the entry by our client into a Loan Agreement for R9mn with Glacier Financial (a subsidiary of Sanlam); and (b) in parallel with the above, the acquisition by our client from three selling shareholders of a 67.85% equity stake in a financial advisory business for R9mn, such purchase price being subject to an adjustment mechanism and payable in tranches over a 12 month period.
